Lakeside Training Packages
Training with Lakeside has its perks! Lakeside Training is focused on building positive and lasting relationships between you and your dog, this means training at Lakeside revolves around the education of Human Pack Members and creating strong, confident Pack Leaders. The Lakeside Team works hands-on with you to understand Pack Mentality, the importance of socialization and what it is that makes a dog, a dog. At the conclusion of every training session you will be walked through what your dog has learned during their stay with one of our trainers and given reading material and tools to help you achieve the lasting results at home. This will help you reinforce a healthy relationship and maintain Pack balance long after you and your dog have graduated from Lakeside Training.
You will also be invited to our group classes (held in spring and autumn only) to help you with any specific issues and work on strengthening your dogs training. Our Facebook Page will keep you updated on the time and place of our group classes, prices are subject to change. Potty training, mastering the walk, neutralizing aggression - Whatever you and your dog are facing, Lakeside has the perfect training course for you.

Evaluations are required for new clients over 1 year old, by appointment only, $12 each dog being evaluated.

Day Training

For day training, your dog comes to Daycare to play with friends and learn basic obedience with our trainers.
At the end of each week we will schedule a meeting with you and your dog to go over their training. You will also get access to our group classes where you can learn alongside other training alumni.
This package includes 4 days and 3 nights of boarding and training at Lakeside Paws. During this program, our trainers will work with your dog exclusively on leash manners (however, any leash reactivity will require a minimum of our 7-day program). The Essentials Training Package includes a one hour session at the time of pickup, where your dog will get to show off what they learned during their stay. During your one hour pickup session, the we will work with you hands-on, showing all your human pack members how to maintain the training at your home and cultivate a strong pack at home. At the completion of your training program you will get up to two follow-up training sessions.

The Foundation

This package includes 7 days and 6 nights of boarding and training at Lakeside Paws. During this program, your dog will master basic obedience skills, good leash walking, and gain healthy social skills. The goal of The Foundation Program is understanding basic foundations. It is achieved through strong, confident leadership. Your dog and human pack members will learn the meaning of basic foundations in depth, also the importance of a balanced pack hierarchy within your home during your go-home session. Dogs enrolled in this program will get to engage in daily socialization during daycare hours and two structured training sessions daily. The Foundation Training Package also includes, a two hour session at the time of pickup, where your dog will get to show off what they learned during their stay and we will work with you hands-on, showing all the human pack members how to maintain the training results at home and practice strong pack leadership. After completion of the program you get a few free follow-up training sessions.
This package includes 10 days and 9 nights of boarding and training at Lakeside Paws. In this program, your dog will establish structured daily routines like, but not limited to, potty training and crate training. The Lakeside Team will also address help your pup master leash walking and any specific habits or behavioral issues your family might need. The All-Star Puppy Training Package also includes a one to two hour session at time of pickup, where your dog will get to show off what they learned during their stay and we will work hands-on with you to develop characteristics of strong pack leadership and learning to maintain training at home.

This package includes 3 weeks of boarding and training and is determined by your dog’s needs. During this program, your dog will build on their skill set mastered in one of our previous programs and achieve advanced training goals. The Master Program is unique, as your dog’s outward behavior is no longer the focus of training. Instead, the Lakeside Team will focus on building healthy psychological behavior and challenging your dogs mental ability and impulse control. During these weeks your dog will learn skills they will carry on with them throughout their entire life! The Master Training Package also includes, a two hour session at the time of pickup, where your dog will get to show off what they learned during their stay and we will work hands-on with you showing human pack members how to maintain the training at home and practice strong pack leadership.
